Shelly Motion 2 has a 6500 mAh rechargeable battery with Type-C charger. Battery life depends entirely on usage. When installed in an area with regular physical activity - such as a family living room or kitchen - the battery life will be more than 1 year. However, in standby mode, the battery life of the sensor can last up to 3 years.
