The AQARA Smart Wall Switch H1 is designed for use with the EU version of the Aqara Hub. It can work with the Agara Home app available for both iOS and Android. If you will be using the switch as a HomeKit, an Aqara Hub is a must. The Aqara Hub then acts as a HomeKit bridge in combination with the Aqara Home application, which means that devices connected to the Aqara Hub can be controlled using the HomeKit application. If you also want to control the device remotely, not from your home Wi-Fi / LAN, you also need it as an Apple TV home hub with tvOS 10.2 or later, iPAD with iOS 10.3 or later, or HomePod.
